The T3 continues Taylor’s quest to expand the range of tones available to the electric player. Inspired by both the T5 and the SolidBody, we’ve taken the classic semi-hollowbody sound and applied our signature Taylor design and tonal touches, blending our high-definition Style 2 pickups with a coil-splitting application to give players killer humbucker and single coil sounds in one guitar. A push-pull tone knob brings two sweeping modes of tone control. We’ve also paired a Bigsby tailpiece with a roller bridge on the T3/B model, giving players a high-performance vibrato bar without the pitch issues. Players who don’t need a vibrato bar can instead opt for a T3 with a stop tailpiece.
What’s great about the T3 is the way it soups-up a semi-hollowbody’s essential sound, transforming it into a hotrod guitar capable of a wider range of tones as a result of our pickups, coil-splitting, and unique tone control. All on top of signature Taylor traits you can always count on, like superb intonation and easy playability.
Perennially one of our most popular models, the exquisite 814ce brings together the unmistakable tone of rosewood, true Taylor styling, and the versatility of a Grand Auditorium body. A Venetian cutaway and Expression System pickup complete the perfect picking package. Pricing is for a natural finish, 3 tone sunburst available as an upgrade.
Western Red cedar provides the soundboard for this mahogany guitar, while traditional acoustic guitar styling—including an intricate slotted peghead—creates the elegant, understated look.
Our two Indian rosewood acoustic guitar offerings represent classic combinations with nearly universal appeal. With a Sitka spruce top we add a touch of crispness to rosewood’s big, bold tone. Along with its intimate Grand Concert shape, a slotted peghead contributes to an unbeatable acoustic experience.
It’s big. And if you think you know the “Taylor” sound, you’re in for a big surprise. Meet the all-new Grand Symphony, an original body shape developed by Bob Taylor. Its big voice is bold and new, and unlike any other Taylor. The GS Series features four wood combinations.
Tuned from B to B, our 6-string baritone GS yields a deep, potent tonal voice that will appeal to singer-songwriters and other players who favor playing in a lower register. The baritone also blends well with other instruments, adding a different sonic texture to create a rich, ensemble sound.
A truly unique voice, the 8-string baritone GS complements the baritone’s lower tonal range by pairing two octave strings with the third and fourth strings, adding a touch of upper-octave brightness without too much 12-string jangle. The result is a guitar with incredible tonal range, perfect for walking basslines and rich melodies. We also have a full mahogany version in stock for a totally different sound!

Taylor Swift Model
Once a talented preteen with a Taylor guitar and big musical dreams, country pop superstar Taylor Swift has realized those dreams and then some, taking the world by storm over the last several years. Swift spent much of 2009 on her first headlining tour, in support of her multiplatinum sophomore release Fearless. A sold-out show at New York’s Madison Square Garden offered a compelling sign of her popularity, as her devoted young fans passionately sang along to every song, at one point giving the engaging singer-songwriter a four-minute standing ovation. In 2009 Swift celebrated the milestone success of 10 million total albums sold and over 20 million paid downloads (more than any artist in country music history). Before exiting her teenage years, she has already been honored with more music awards than most artists receive in a lifetime.
Our second offering in Indian rosewood, the 800 Series® traces its roots to the earliest Taylors. Bob’s latest design changes speak of traditional lutherie in the form of hand-set, figured maple binding. It’s a gorgeous upgrade that complements the beautiful hues of rosewood and sparkling inlay work. For many, the 800 Series is a true Taylor icon.
Top: Sitka Spruce. Back/Sides: Indian Rosewood. Cutaway & Expression System Pickup Standard.
