THE IMPORTANCE OF MUSIC
Though not all children will develop a love for music, research proves that the reading and mathematical skills provided by a solid music education, is of great benefit to the overall education of the child. Social skills are greatly enhanced through the performance experience of playing in the school band or orchestra.
PURCHASE vs. RENTAL
Most parents choose to survey their child's level of interest and aptitude before investing in an instrument purchase. As a general rule however, the sooner you make your decision to purchase, the more significant the savings will be. Certain time sensitive discounts may be in place, so check your rental contract for further information.
Once a decision has been made to purchase, we will apply your rental payments to the initial price of the instrument, calculate any discounts that may be available to you, and quote to you what may be a surprisingly affordable payoff figure. Of course, you are under no obligation to purchase. You may simply choose to return or continue to rent the instrument.
INSTRUMENT CHOICE
One of the keys to a successful music experience is to maximize the interest level of the child. A good way to achieve this is to allow your child, with guidance, to make the decision. Find out what kinds of sounds they like best. You might even take him or her to the symphony for additional exposure to the different types and sounds of instruments.

With a staff of school representatives whose sole purpose is to meet the needs of our rental customers and their music directors, Rayburn and their affiliated dealers stand ready to satisfy any musical need you may have.
We are prepared to take care of needs such as repairs, accessories, music books or other item that your child may require.

MAINTENANCE
One of the beautiful features of our rental program is the Loss/Damage/Theft (LDT) policy. Though optional, this highly recommended feature provides full protection against anything that may happen to the instrument including theft or fire. If it needs repair, you simply call us for instructions. Repair or replacement is provided at no cost to you. Nothing could be simpler.
ABOUT EXCHANGES
Sometimes finding the best instrument to suit your child involves a bit of ''trial & error's. If you find this to be the case, you will also find that we are very understanding and accommodating. Your child may try an instrument and find it unsuitable. Should he want to play another type of instrument you can exchange the one you' are renting for another without losing any rental purchase credit. Consult with the child's instructor about what other instruments may be more suitable for your particular child.
RETURN POLICY
Of course we hope that your child experiences a high level of success in musical education. H things do not work out however, you can be assured that exiting our rental program is quick and easy.
A simple call to our rental office is usually all that is required. Our courteous staff will provide you with exact return instructions so that you are properly credited for the return of the instrument. You will be responsible for rental payments only for the lime that you actually have possession of the instrument.
WHAT ELSE YOU MAY NEED
Different instruments carry different accessory requirements. However, one item commonly needed among all instruments is a music stand. Our research has concluded that using a music stand promotes proper posture and faster advancement in the music program. Available at a discount, this music stand can help to influence your child's success.

We have always strived to maintain a very high level of professionalism and know that today's beginning students may be tomorrow's professionals. For this reason, we have tailored our rental program to help ensure the best opportunity for our child's success.
First, we offer an initial trial period at special reduced rates. This places a quality instrument in your child's hands during the critical early period without a large financial commitment.
Second, at the end of the trial period, you may continue renting on a monthly basis or return the instrument with no further obligation.
Third, all your rental payments are credited toward the purchase of the instrument. Additionally, during the first entire yeas you can purchase the instrument at a very substantial discount. |
